Below are some great ideas you can use to promote your business both on and offline. This is part two of our promotion ideas.
- Save $100 (or other amount) when you buy two or more items at one time.
- Have a contest. They are entered into the contest each time they order. Pick a winner at the end of the month (or longer).
- Pin pictures of your products on Pinterest. When someone searches for that product, your images will come up in a search and direct people to your website.
- Use social media more to promote products. Facebook and twitter are the best.
- Create an infographic and post it to Pinterest, Facebook 05and social media accounts. An infographic is an information image, usually with words on the image, for product promotion.
- Create how to videos on how to do something and post the video on your website and YouTube. Videos are easy and inexpensive to make.
- Have an open house and invite your customers to a customer appreciation open house party.
- Give t-shirt or jackets with your logo on them to your staff to wear, especially if they are leaving the office and meeting people.
- All of your staff should have business cards that they can give out to people.
- Use Direct Mail to send out postcards. Contact the post office for details.
- Send out flyers to your customers with promotions.
- QR Codes are the black and white square codes that can be scanned by smartphones. Put a QR code on your mailings (statements, invoices, etc.). They scan the code to be directed to your website where they receive a discount, special promotion, or more information.
- Business Card Drawing. Put a fishbowl at your place of business with a sign asking visitors to drop their business cards in for a chance to win something from you (for example, a restaurant might offer a free pizza).
- Personalize your business. Post pictures of yourself and your staff on your website.
