Use Pinterest to Get More Customers:
Pinterest is a social media tool that allows you to “pin” images you have uploaded to Pinterest or images you have found on the Internet. This can be a great tool for small businesses.
Think visually: Do you have a photo gallery on your website? Or images of items that you sell? You can pin these images on your Pinterest account. These pins can be shared to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. The more interesting or captivating your pin is, the more likely it is to be repinned. Try to find a stunning image.
You can also turn your data into charts and infographics. Infographics are very popular. An infographic is an image, with or without text on it, that demonstrates the point you are trying to get across. An image of a chart is an infographic.
If you have written a book or e-book you can pin your book covers. This will entice people to go to your website for more information on the book and to purchase the book.
Promote deals with graphics. Create a coupon for a discount or some other deal and add it to your Pinterest account. Then ask your customers and friends to re-pin the coupon or to share the coupon on Facebook or Twitter.
You can also use Pinterest to introduce yourself by posting your picture or logo. Pin a photo of an employee and attach a profile. Post one per week, and collect them on a board that serves as a company profile. This is a Pinterest version of an “About Us” page.
You can also pin videos to Pinterest. If you have a company video you can pin your videos. Encourage your customers to share your videos with others by re-pinning them on Facebook or Twitter.
