“How do I get more clients?”
This is probably the most asked question any business person asks. Here are eight ideas that may help you get more clients:
- Try a new marketing technique: You likely have found some marketing techniques that work for you, so you use them over and over, but they can become stale. If you try something new, you will reach new people. Print a flyer, create a coupon, or have a sale. There are many marketing ideas that can generate more business.
- Launch or offer a new product: To get different people to check out your products or services, offer something new, or a new offer.
- Consider using pay-per-click advertising: Google Adwords, when set up properly can be a great tool to get new clients. Did you know you can set Google Adwords to show ads to only people in your area, or only at a certain time of the day. When set up correctly, you can target specific clients to click on your ads.
- Write articles and/or press releases: When writing your article, be sure to include a link to your website. Then post your article to your blog, or submit your article or press release to submission websites. Be sure you use the correct format for press releases or articles, because many sites will only post the release if it has the correct formatting.
- Ask for referrals: Offer incentives to your current clients to refer you to their friends, family and business associates. You can offer a discount, a commission, theatre tickets, a gift certificate, etc. for referrals.
- Cold Calls: Sometimes the best way to get new business is to simply go get it. Just remember: – Don’t take no personally. – It’s a numbers game. Just keep on going!
- Revamp your Web site: Did you create your website yourself? Or, maybe you have not changed the website content or design in years. If so, it is time to revamp your website. A professional, up-to-date, mobile friendly website is essential.
- Get Social: Facebook, reading blogs, tweeting, and interacting with their friends and family online is becoming increasingly more popular. Use social networks to find more clients and increase your online reputation.
